I am but a small voice
Lost in the noise
I am but a drip of water
Making a quiet splash in a large sea

I am quickly trampled
Beneath the chaos
Laying forgotten
Under the numerous stars

My heart beats quietly
But my God is fierce
And though I tremble
He stands firm

I fall weak upon my knees
Tears stream like a bursting dam
Terrible suffering bursts forth
But my God, I am overwhelmed with joy

Who am I but a small pebble
Rolling gently
Along the rough road
My God stoops down to meet me

I am lifted up on eagles wings
I fly high with the angles
And my God never forgot me
My small voice was a beautiful splash
Against His Merciful Heart
